Gamers!, a anime that tells a story of a hardcore youth who has spent half his life gaming and as a otaku. Our main protagonist, Amano Kieta, who never socialized with anyone in his life until the moment the most cutest girl in his school, Tendou Karen, stopped over to talk to him in a gaming store, is a person who happens to be a hardcore gamer.
It isn't that he is good at gaming or has some skill that in a different way makes him extra-ordinary at gaming but it is the love of Tendou for Kieta that she happens to invite him to the Gaming Club at school of which she is the president. The anime as the title speaks for itself is mostly about gaming but apart that there is also a much bigger side which is focused on the anime i.e., the whole of the anime revolves around a Romantic-Comedy (Rom-Com) confusion between the five (six) main characters in the story. The story tells us itself by each episode about how the misunderstanding between the characters increase as they do not open up to each other in each episode. The life of these characters especially become bad when odd things happen at a unfortunate time, making the characters more suspicious and more confused.
For me, I think that the anime itself should have finished at the 11th Episode as by the end all the relationships between each characters reach to a point where there is no misunderstandings and everyone is happy. The 12th Episode however talked about the "DLCs" in games and as we come to a closure we can sense that there are some confusions that still remain and it would have been better if they too were solved, and this is something that brings in light the hope for a second season.
This anime is recommended for "Shonen" anime lovers.
