Food is something that can be expressed with a sense of vision and that sense of feel and touch. It is something that is almost like a melody to a person's tongue and a rhythm that plays a sonnet in a level that only a few chefs can choose to accomplish and play with the band and set of helping hands that they are given in their work field, that is the kitchen, their playground and their battle field.
As the 4th season of the anime starts off we already due to the abrupt ending of the 3rd season's 2nd bout know for sure that the 4th season is going to be but the continuation of the last Team Shokugeki which was left off in the 3rd season's 2nd bout. As mentioned before, a kitchen can be a Chef's playground or a battlefield, and for sure this season is something where the kitchen plays the role of the latter and it is due to that that the anime takes such a interesting and a mind twisting turn from the 3rd season itself. Though the anime does have a abrupt ending in its 3rd season, the wait and the unfinished ending in the anime is actually worth it cause what the 4th season brings us is a whole new plate of flavors, dishes, recipes, and palates. The story that is told through these amazing dishes in every season is something that is worth watching as just like the many characters in the anime, each of their dishes have their own story and a finish to it and like the character themselves the recipes turn out to speak their mind and soul that each have put up in their own stories and lives. Even if our main character is Yukihira Souma the 4th season actually throws light to not only him but also to the other supporting characters like, Erina, Megumi, Tsukasa, Rindo-senpai and to Mimasaka. The amazing fact in here is that these are not all but the story is also focused on Erina's father Azami Nakiri and to Yukihira's father Saiba Joichiro. Probably one of the most interesting factor that the 4th season has to offer is this factor itself because in the 4th season you not only get to see a story from one person's view but from multiple angles and it actually leaves you to be the judge of whether or not the person's scope of pursuing that goal is good or bad. It is this factor of the anime that actually makes the anime as a "WHOLE ANIME" with no blind and remaining spots.
The animation again is top-notch in the 4th season as well as the animation just like the other season are always more refined with each progressing season and not to over the top to make the anime look bad. The production team has actually done a really interesting job to make the animation just to the point so that it can maintain a proper amount of line-work and quality. The story again itself is not left still at any point and with the ending one more chapter of the anime again closes and another opens as we see a new face and a hope for 5th season at the end of the anime.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
