What is the power of anime? A really important question, yet many of us are still blind to what that power is. Although it is right in front of our eyes we still act and believe that we cannot see the answer to it. The anime however lousy or bad you may say it, it finally made me realize what that power is. It is the power of imagination and belief, where all that we could hardly imagine too comes true in these amazing and beautiful worlds. Though they last only for a small time of 12 to 24 Episodes, they do not fail to deliver and show their motto and dedication of all the beautiful things there are in this world that we live in.
A gender-swapping anime where the main protagonist (here being Mitsuka Soji) transforms into a girl every time that he leaps into action and defeats the bad guys. This is the kind of anime that this is. The basic story and plot actually remind me greatly of two other anime that I have in the past, named “Highschool DXD” and “Kampfer”. The main reason why I am reminded of them are because of the fact that this anime contains the basic and the most important aspect needed for the whole story to form. To say it clearly, the dedication and the inspiration part where Soji wants to protect and keep Twin-Tails in the world safe are linked highly to “Highschool DXD” where in that anime the main protagonist “Issei Hyoudo” wanted to protect and keeps breasts safe no matter what size or shape they were. The second anime “Kampfer” reminds me of how the protagonist changes every time when there is a difficulty or a time for action. These traits of the two anime definitely helped me a lot which I was watching the anime as I then had a clear sense as to what was going on and why Soji actually wanted to protect twin-tails. Not that it opposes me but the fact that anime world has evolved to this level is amazingly surprising as now no matter how small or hidden a feature may be, you can actually come up with a way to watch almost all kind of anime in these modern times, and that is something that is absolutely a plus as when different kind of anime do come out, we can then stop with the old and tradition clique anime plots and stories. The villains in the anime are someone who you can really get to know properly too as instead of having complicated and difficult name they actually have pretty pleasant name, like if it was a buffalo shaped bad guy then all that you would have to do is take the name of the animal and add “Guildly” to it, for example, Worm Guildly, Spider Guildly, etc. Although it may not be that properly executed, the names actually have a plus point in the anime because as the name are easy you can then properly remember the kind of foes that the heroes faces during there time as a hero. Mostly the anime do cause a problem, as when they are too difficult to remember and memorise you sometime seem to loose track of the anime as you very often get confused in the names of the characters.
Coming to the overall output. The anime in terms of animation and story doesn’t fair very well but the fact that it has a unique and different type of execution of story from other anime, it actually makes a pretty decent and a reliable anime. The other negative point on the anime is the language that it has, as even though it may be simple the words are actually pretty messed up and that can sometimes cause a hinderance which we watch the anime. About it second season. I am not exactly sure if it would have a second season, but again it is a highly possible as the “Big Boss” in the anime is still to appear and “Dark Grasper” is still yet to return after meeting the traitor. And the biggest question of all, is the traitor the Big Boss of Ultimagul.
This anime is recommended for every “FANTASY” anime lover.
