Takeshi even after three years to his brother's accident believes that he would go anywhere, even to Hell if it has to, to escape from his home and the people living in it. What Takeshi does not realize is that his wish is about to come true after three long years but as he turns to a magician, will the place destined for him really be a place he in his heart wish to escape to.
Upon turning to a magician Takeshi now goes on to live in a world that is the mirror dimension to the real world which is also known as, "THE RUINED WORLD." Here he learns upon on of the biggest secret of the world which is the Great Magical War between the two magician communities, 'Wizard Brace' and the 'Ghost Trailers", whose aim may be different but which side to fight for is something that really surprises not only the characters in the anime but also the people watching it. The biggest shock that comes to us is when we see that the Nanase Youko was one of the 15 great magicians who helped to stabilize the world and she really is only Takeshi's mother. The anime itself is really well thought out and the characters in it are really well planned and executed but the only and the most saddest drawback is the secret that the anime hides from its viewers.
As the anime finishes we see no big secrets revealed like, why Kazuma called Youko his mother, what were the truths that Kurumi learned, what did Kurumi tell to Mui, what will happen to Takeshi and Gekkou now that they are in the past, and as the anime finishes and after some net surfing we find out that there really is no hope for a second season as the creators have now given up on the anime and it really only continues in manga.
This anime is recommended for every "FANTASY" anime lover.
