THE FOURTEEN CASE

"TOKYO GHOUL ROOT A"

Genre- Action, Super Power, Supernatural, Fantasy, School, Romance, Mecha, Mystery, Police, Horror, Military, Thriller.

As many of you may have guessed it, this is the second season of the anime and also this does not again fail to surprise the viewer and also does not fail to keep the viewer interested in it. This sequel however is bad in only one aspect that is, this does not have the emotions that the first season had.

Here many story of different individual are cleared up and also here there is a main twist that takes a sudden turn and leaves the viewer in shock as it is very unexpected. We finally understand the story of Mr. Mado, Yoshimura, Kaneki, Toka, etc. The anime does not beat around the bush and keeps to the point which if you ask me is something that is hardly seen in many animes. Kaneki finally decides to leave 'Anteiku' and join 'Algiri' as he wishes to become strong there and protect the only family that he ever cared about. Many may think that this is absurd but what he really wishes is to protect them and become strong so that he won't have to hold them back anymore. The story of the one-eyed owl is also cleared up which is the case that opens up in the starting of the anime, as it seems there are two owls and both are related in a way as the are both father and daughter going by the name Yoshimura and Eto. As the Anteiku is finally burned down by the CCG we see that that humanity and peace between humans and ghouls is something that cannot be wished on forward. Here also Inspector Amon is finally killed by the Eyepatch and also we see the romantic feeling of Mr. Mado daughter Akira and Amon when he is killed dead.

The story does have and interesting twist to it and also promises us a further season of it as many mysteries are still unsolved. The anime ends with Kaneki carrying his dead friend Hide in his hands and then being stopped by a CCG Inspector and also with Toka starting her own cafe like the Anteiku and looking towards the way where Anteiku once was.

This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
