The Second Cour is the continuation of the third season from episode 12 onwards. These continued episodes are the main episodes of the anime so far as many of the secrets lies here like, Soma’s father, Saiba Joichiro’s past life as a student, the reaction of Erina upon discovering the truth behind Saiba and Yukihira.
As the season proceeds we see that many of the things around the school further begin to change now that Erina’s dictator father has taken control over it completely and also notice that the free and open teaching that students used to get is now completely put to a stop. What these episodes mainly hold are the Final Examination of the students in Hokkaido where now they will be judged based not on their performance but on them being a Rebel or a Loyal follower to Central. What further excites these episodes are, Hayama joining the Central and finally becoming a part of the Elite Ten, the new Ninth Seat and the the Team Shokugeki between the Rebels and the Central where Central will fight to expel the Rebels and take in Saiba Joichiro as one of their pawns making him close down Yukihira diner and the Rebels fighting for their friends who have been expelled as they were not able to pass the third stage of the Examination.
There are two matches that have been explained and shown but what about the remaining matches will the Rebels survive or will it mark the end of their existence? This is something that now creates a new excitement in the viewers making the people wait so that they can finally know the truth and find out the future.
This anime is absolutely a “MUST WATCH.”
