Kicking things off from the 1st Season, the sequel begins right where it left off. While the anime needs no introduction as a whole, it should still be noted that the sequel makes the whole plot of the anime more interesting and widens the area of anime by tenfolds or even more.

With Naofumi and his party successfully saving the world from 'The Waves' and its calamity, this season brings us two main side story that connects the main plot and increases the background of the anime to other spaces and dimensions. One is the side story of the Spirit Tortoise and the other is the sub-story of Naofumi and his party traveling to another world of 'L'Arc' and his comrades. While this does not connect to the main story from the first season, it still adds the base plot of what we might expect in the coming seasons of the anime. With dimension traveling possible and more characters added to the story we can only assume that this anime is going to take things to a whole another level in terms of Isekai. And the season also helps to clarify that nothing about 'The Waves' is really known to people, which just adds more mystery as to what might happen in the future seasons.

In terms of technicalities, the anime takes a little toll in terms of animation but whenever required, we do see the utmost delivered to us. And in terms of the story progression, we can say that the sequel is basically a mini-season that might help further the story as new seasons come out.

This anime is recommended for every "DRAMA" anime lover.
