'There are times that one must realize that the one saving all is the one that needs to be saved the most.' There are desperate times where one must lend an angelic hand to those in need but just like the polar-side to it, there are also times that one must realize that now is the time where he/she must be rescued and freed from the clutches and shackles.
Coming back to us with its second season, with double the hilarious moments and more spice into the lives of our two main protagonists, here the anime continues its story just where it had left off previously. There are moments in here that talk to us of the more serious issues of everyday lives like the 'serious misunderstanding and bullying case of Ishigami Yu' and the sidetrack story and family rules of Shinomiya Kaguya herself. The anime retains its humourous side but despite that, it goes on to tell us of the many serious consequences that may be caused when a misunderstanding approaches its limits and at the time when 'only one side of the story is said', a time when the society goes on to ignore the fact that there are not one but two sides of the similar story and without hearing the other they just continue to judge the person for all eternity. These are the feelings that have been very deeply portrayed in the anime keeping it more significant and weighty. Towards the end, we also see that the producer's layout a hint for us almost speaking to us directly that the anime will likely have a third season to it.
On the level of its animation and production value, the team of "Aniplex" an "Funimation" have really pulled off all the stops making sure that each frame is dealt with the maximum so that the anime has a more emotional and a more subtle feel to it. The down-to-the-earth animation really makes the anime more distinguished than the rest and the clever use of the narrator in all the episodes really elevates its quality which helps us to understand the anime in more depth and clarity.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
