Taking a look at those that live and making our judgement on them is very easy for us but along those lines, there are times that we forget about the emotions that they felt during that time. We pass out judgements on behalf of their acts without even understanding the emotions that they felt at the moment and even about what were the circumstances surrounding them that led them to choose this path of destruction, self-harm or causing pain for others.
'Death Parade' is an anime that speaks to our inner souls as it gives us a reason to understand the person before passing our judgements on them and also talks about why it is important to understand those that are being judged from their levels. Taking on a drastic turn from the first episode itself, the anime does not fail when it comes down to shocking twists and ending at the end of every episode and as the whole anime itself. To keep the plot subtle and simple, the anime is given a vibe of a court that is depicted as a bar and it takes on a case where the arbiter decides who lives and who faces death. Though the plot seems simple and rather common, it is anything but far from what we have seen. The anime goes on to provide us with amazing analysis about life and also why we should first understand the person being judged with emotions rather than common sense.
Lastly, coming down to its quality of animation and production work, you can really tell that the team has done its best in those aspects as none of the scenes in the anime lack refinement and are handles with utmost care to bring out the emotions and personalities of a character. From the scenes that are action-packed with games to scenes that contain just conversations, each of them seem shocking processed which makes them all the better to look at and enjoy.
This anime is recommended for every "PSYCHOLOGICAL" anime lover.
