While many may want to live out a life that is simple and plain filled with joy and laughter, life sometimes has its own take in it and compiles our life with events in a manner that completely shatters this dream.
Gleipnir is a story about a high-schooler who begs God and aims in life to live out his days as an average teenager, a person who has nothing special to show and is just your everyday high school kid who minds his own business. Little do people know that he is someone who can transform himself into a monster and do things that we do not consider ordinary. Meeting Clair was probably Shuichi's biggest turn in life, as it was after this moment that his life actually went downhill and took a turn that could be considered good or bad. The anime gives us a great insight into everything that revolves around Shuichi and unlike the rest takes a totally different turn when it comes down to depicting real-life situations where a person might have to be murdered to protect you and your secret. It does not waste time in ideal chatter and makes sure that each scene in the anime co-relates to something making it even better and binge-worthy.
From its amazing visuals to refined animation, the anime has it all and unlike the rest of the 'mystery' type anime, it has a tendency to unveil secrets in parts, which serves as a plus point to us as we are not flooded by flashbacks at once. Though there are many mysteries that still remain unearthed by the end, it only goes on to promise us about Season 2, making our hearts skip a beat and get lost in thought, as to what we might experience in the future.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
