Failing to keep a promise, to be weak, and not being able to save someone. Making a memory so haunting that it makes you believe you would be better off dead. And even in the chance that you are given to live your life for a second time you just wish that you could go back in time and save those that need help and your strength.
Having a similar situation, our protagonist Ikoma goes on to join a fight against the Kabane (zombie-like creatures) who took everything from him. Stealing his family and the world that he cares for, he goes on to live his life as a stream smith only to one join the fight against Kabane. Due to the fear of Kabane, mankind has sealed itself behind walls and created many districts, through which they travel by specially made trains that can stand up against the Kabane and their fighting force. In his journey, Ikoma goes on to make many friends and finds those that he couldn't save in those that are still alive and beside him. Making up his mind not to run away, he promises to save everyone and make the world get rid of this loathsome disease.
The anime gives off an "Attack On Titan" vibe from many angles, like, the system of walls and from the weapon system that they use, which actually makes it impressive as even though the plot is different we can still relate to what is happening. The animation and post-production work itself is top-tier and this helps maintain interest in the anime, making it all the more worthwhile and entertaining.
This anime is recommended for every "ACTION" anime lover.
