"KOMI CAN'T COMMUNICATE"
Genre- Comedy, Slice of Life, School.
"Not good at talking doesn't mean they don't want to socialize." It is simply a thing where normal people cannot speak up and express their minds in form of words. It may come off as cold or disturbing to people but their intention is anything but far from being seen as unfriendly.
Komi is a high schooler who has a communication disorder and therefore cannot talk like normal youngsters around her. She has always struggled to make friends and when Tadano becomes the first person to understand her, she is uplifted by joy and finally gives a chance to change herself and fit in like a normal sophomore. The anime has a series of events that connect to make a story, similar to 'Sakamoto Desu-ga.' It also highlights a subtle romance between our two protagonists which creates a melancholy mood, and the frequent introduction of new characters in the story helps it to progress as a school anime with hilarious background and an indefinite plot that surrounds Komi. The name of each character represents themself and this makes the whole storyline even more fun as it adds a play on words every time someone new is brought out.
The animation is pretty basic and the pop-up dialogues that appear at scenes help explain the anime better. Every event is taken into account and it gives a solid follow-up story to all events taking place that clear confusion and makes it all the better.
This anime is recommended for every "SCHOOL" anime lover.
