We all have dreams that we hope come true sooner or later. These are the rays that make us feel like a winner and give meaning to our lives. This anime talks about a dream of a young boy with a major inferiority complex, who comes from a small village in hopes of becoming a soldier at the Kingdom of Azami. A dream he longed to fulfill after watching a hero in a folktale.
Packed with surprises and starting on a dumbfounded note of our main protagonist being weak, he is anything but far from it as with each progressing scene in the anime you are in for nothing but more shocks. It has a pretty basic story that is similar to what you would expect from fantasy and adventure-based anime but its excessive humor and over-the-top hilarious scenes make it different from the rest, invoking a whole new level to fantasy-type anime. And all though it may seem too complicated with the names of characters and places in the anime, the main story of it is pretty straightforward, which makes the anime interesting to watch and keep hold of as you progress from one episode to another. One other thing that makes it all the more interesting is that there is no overlapping of small-time events in the anime, which saves us time from diverging from the main plot, and also it keeps the main story in the anime simple and smooth.
In terms of technical features, the anime has a rather sharp but rustic style of animation that fills itself with refinement at unexpected times making the anime all the more interesting. And wasting no time in terms of story and character development, it has a fast pace as no time is wasted in idle chatter. This helps to keep the scenes progressive as none of the scenes in the anime look forcefully extended.
This anime is recommended for every "FANTAST" anime lover.
