THE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THIRD COMMITMENT

Up next is

"HORIMIYA"

Genre- School, Slice of Life, Comedy, Romance, Shounen.

"What can I do to make her smile? What can I do for her?" There is a time in every person's life when no matter how badly they have been isolated, the rays of love and affection will find their way to them in one form or other. It is at this moment that one thinks of ways to make the other happy, ways in which they can experience bliss closer to a heaven of their own.

Like the title of the anime, this story revolves around the two main protagonists of our story, named Miyamura and Hori. Though they might seem like the polar opposite of each other in terms of personality, it is the tunnel of love that connects and it is this presence of love between them that we see in the anime. For what you might expect out of a romantic-comedy anime, this is totally on a different scale when it comes to smooth story progression, as it includes proper development of characters in terms of romance and as friends, and also, it gives us a good insight of all the couples that form (not only the main protagonists), including their situations in a relationship. This helps keep the background of the anime fresh and anew as you notice everything that happens along with the character development of the main protagonists. And hitting us with a sense of reality, it has all the pleasant moments of love captured, but it still brings to you the harsh reality that also lies with love that is rejected and left in a void.

There are times in anime when you just can't have enough of it, and personally, Horimiya was one in that category. It has the right amount of comedy at perfect moments which just level-ups everything by its flawless animation and post-production. There isn't a time you get bored because you are always busy enjoying the new things that spark up and the fun that revolves around them. If there was anything it lacked short of, then it's the fact that it should've just continued and never ended, because every aspect of the anime is just that good.

This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
