The ultimate goal is to have your one wish granted by a Godly figure and it is the reason that students from all over the world take part in it through eliminations and finally come out on top to be the strongest and the most worthy fighters. However, the real goal of the tournament has always been shifted to find the Key who will awaken the power beyond human reasoning and understanding. A power to take on God himself and challenge everything that he has and has made. This is a power that lurks within one of the contestants and is something that they hope to obtain and secure before it falls into the wrong hands and takes down all of humanity. Though this may seem like a usual anime plot and background, it is the detailed story and a complete bowl finish to it that makes the anime intriguing and soulful.
To combine all the aspects above with a refined animation and hardcore visual and post-production by Crunchyroll and other producers, this is an anime that will totally keep you at the edge of the seat as it gives us a literal 360-degree view of what's happening and does not save any mysteries or flashbacks for the last making it even more interesting as we know what the person is fighting for, in return getting to see some true combat where it does not bore us in the middle by involving flashbacks and memory points.
