THE HUNDREDTH CONFESSION

Next up is

"KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR"

Genre- Romance, Psychological, School, Drama, Slice of Life, Shojo.

"That's right. There is no God." How does it feel to be left out of everything because of the status that your family has? How does it feel to be lifeless, to have a look in your eyes that speak for you? They go on to deceive the world of all the happiness that you have but at the same time show to that one person all the sadness that binds you and succumbs you.

Kaguya Shinomiya, a girl born to one of the wealthiest families there is in Japan. Ever since childhood, our protagonist has been deprived of all the things that make a person's youth. A youth is said to be the basic foundation of a person as he/she is growing up. It is now in the prime time of her high school life that she now decides to break free of the shackles and get on in the boat that sails for love. Coming from a family as wealthy as she's, she is just too prideful of a person to confess her love to the Student Council President, Miyuki Shirogane. He, on the other hand, is also a person who is governed by his own pride and ego thus, these both would do about anything to make sure that the other confessed their feelings first for them. The whole anime is basically a hysterical roller-coaster ride filled with twists and turns as both go on in their daily lives making sure that their schemes work out some way or the other.

Throughout the anime, one gets to see the many events that bring two lovers close and also of the ways how each of them uses different techniques to clear a misunderstanding. The best line in the anime is probably at the end where Kaguya states that "Their focus is on the fireworks. But I'm sorry. I can't take my eyes off of that face." A line so powerful that it closes the anime in the best way possible, giving you just a hint that there is in fact a Season 2 to this rom-com.

This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
