“KIMI NI TODOKE 2ND SEASON”

Genre- Romance, School, Comedy, Slice of Life.

Being in love and being surrounded by misunderstandings at the same time is something that makes a love really bloom, but when the latter is much greater than the prior, I wonder what would happen then. The second season of “Kimi ni Todoke” is really a must for all those people who watched its first season, especially if that person really took the time like I did to really understand all the meaning and motives behind it.

The second season again hits us with a bang right from the very first episode itself where the writer of the story again does not waste any time in ideal chatter and dialogues with boring and exhaustive scenes which go a complete with by not matching with the anime at all. The English translated title “From Me, To You” really suits the anime well, with all the love that blossoms around our two main protagonists, Kuronuma Sawako and Kazehaya Shota. A love so intense and filled with misunderstanding and rumors that that it is almost left unrecruited until the very end. Especially for me I was really happy that it ended the way that it did because if you look at it, it would have been really bizarre and boring had the story line stretched even by a millimetre. Obviously, I wanted to see more of the blooming love between the protagonists but if it did so, then all the excitement and the suspense and happiness that I had built up from these past episodes would have died down living me but in only misery. It is clear that the writer could have made at least 2 more Episodes out of the season to show the fresh love between Kazehaya and Kuronuma, but if the person did so then the main story would have subsided as the main content had already finished, which is the love between Kazehaya and Kuronuma, and instead what we would have been left with would be a dull and stinky OVAs. There is also not many new character introductions beside, Kento Miura who is but a more soft and calm version of Kurumi. I personally feel like without Miura’s introduction the anime could have well been stretched to even another season and probably we could have seen a even more exciting ending than we just did. But, again could the anime have the same amount of feelings had Miura not been introduced? That is something to think about. And also, would I or rather we have loved it so much had he not been brought in?

Coming to the outside of the anime, the anime again comes with a ‘Recap Episode’ which is Episode 0, it is basically a episode which shows us the recap of probably everything that happened in the first season. The episode is just a warm-up for all the tsunami of misunderstandings that you experience and see later. I personally think that I was a great idea to make a Episode 0 especially after when you watch 24 Episodes in the first season and due to that you memory of it can get a little fuzzy. On the technical term, the production value and the animation of the anime is probably the best as it is because had anymore detailing and animation been given to it, it would had completed destroyed the show as that would have completely destroyed its authentic background and animation.

The anime is absolutely a “MUST WATCH.”
