Though the anime is a little old and rusted, it is still a classic. The proverb "OLD IS GOLD" fits her perfectly and for once I guess, I really like 'Rom-Com' anime. I cannot really describe to you all about the anime but, what I can do is simplify the anime and explain in in vagueness and in little detail.
Basically the anime is about our two main protagonist Ookami-san and Ryoushi-kun. Ookami is a person for whom "a wolf in sheep's clothing" fits perfectly as she is someone who is not honest with herself and with others and also this phrase too is repeated several times in the anime itself. On the other hand Ryoushi is a person suffering from 'Scopophobia', meaning a fear by which a person is scared and fearful of being seen by others, which actually makes him kind of a "bum" in the role of a main male protagonist but again to our surprise the story line of the anime and the whole of its plot is actually laid out pretty well even after our main protagonist being a scaredy cat. The backstory of all the characters in the anime including our two main protagonists is actually maintained very well with all of them having actually pretty good and well plotted pasts and childhoods. Though we don't get to understand and see all of theirs pasts and flashbacks, we can however still make-out the fact that all of them were in a pretty desperate and a very horrific situations in their pasts, which they gradually overcame and now became the members of the Otogi Bank. What is the Otogi Bank, it is a place where people come to ask for help, to which they pay the price of keeping a loan in the bank's name, whereon the bank can ask that person for help at any given point in time for the loan of their's that is pending, one help equals one loan and that one loan can be asked to fulfilled at any point in time.
The anime itself is pretty amazing, with a narrator being their in whole part of the anime which helps the anime in two steps. One, in increasing the comic relief and comedy factor of the anime and, second, explaining the anime in all point in time in case a person does not understand it. You may think that the narration gets in the way and disturbs the anime but, believe me that's not the case at all. If it at all does anything then that is probably to make you want to see the anime even more as it is both comedic and helpful. Coming to the animation factor, even if the animation style is outdated and vague, you still can't complain as any other style would look bloody stupid and disgusting with all the story line and plot. The anime has many questions unsolved, with the main ones being, Ookami's past with Shirou, will Ookami accept Ryoushi and the future that lies ahead of Otogi Bank and its members after how the 11th Episode ended ? What was it?, why not find out yourself.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
