"ORESHURA"
Genre- Comedy, School, Romance, Slice of Life, Harem.
Kidou Eita, a hardworking high school student who despises love because of the way how his parents left him all alone after finding themselves a different lover for themselves. He was a person who suffered with a eight grade syndrome and it was because of that that he has a childhood full of unique and odd fantasies, but comparing him to his youth it is safe to say that he is now a person who is a intelligent and a brilliant student who long ago overcame his eight grade syndrome and now has the aim to become a doctor. But, what will happen when is past is unfolded again and he now has a rival with whom he is force to date.
Well that is exactly how the anime turns out. Our other female protagonist in the story is Natsukawa Matsuzu, she was once a jewel of her father and it is because of that reason that she lived her life lying completely to herself and others, making her a fake person who isn't even sure of her own emotions and feelings. It was due to her lying nature that she too came about to have the feeling of love and all the people who had love in their brains. As much as she hates it, she still can't help but get many proposals from guys in her school because of her pretty face with blue eyes and white hair. Having been fed up of it she openly proposes to Eita to go out with her and blackmails him to fake their relationship so that the guys in her school would leave her alone now that she has a boyfriend. What forces Eita to also do as she demands of him is, his childhood notebook where he had written all his eight grade syndrome's fantasies on. This notebook alone is the key to Eita's bad image in school and it is because of this relationship that now Eita's real adventure in life starts. But, what will happen when Matsuzu realizes that it is not that she wants to fake her relationship but it is rather because she actually loves him and also when there will be not one, not two but three other rivals who are there to compete with her in a romantic fight to win Eita's love.
The anime is a half bowl in my opinion where it has the full set of dish in it but not the required spices to complete it, meaning the whole overlay of the story is told but the flashback moments and the past of the characters are not revealed. We still don't know the complete story of Eita's past, Matsuzu's relation with her father, Chiwa's story to her irreplaceable backbone, Ai and Eita's relationship in detail, Kaoru's secret and his love, etc. It is this mysteries and secrets that demand and actually beg for a second season of Oreshura but the past and the future now will be something to look forward to after the last episode we saw.
This anime is recommended for every "ROMANCE' anime lover.
