To call this anime in a form of genre would be a understatement, but doing the reviews that I do I don't really have a choice. What I can however say though is that the anime is a beast which contains content about the "Meaning Of Life". I really do not want to insult the anime and spoil it for those who have not seen it yet so for that reason this review is going to be really opaque and vague.
Whole purpose and the basic plot of the anime is about finding the meaning of life and the existence of the so called "children" in the anime. Hiro, one of our main protagonist in the anime is a person who from young age has been different from the other children that surround him. He is different because of the simple fact that unlike other children he wants to know the meaning and the purpose of his life though all the questions that he asks the "adults". Unlike others he has asks questions about why he is here, what is in the rest of the world and what is his main purpose in life and who created him for what task exactly. You may as well say that the other genre for the anime is "Puberty" as here we experience many love changes in all the different protagonists and many love triangles and between some of them as well. The Squad 13 (Hiro's Squad) in the anime is the only different squad and it is them that the whole of the anime revolves around. It is about finding love and what is this connection between humans and these children of Squad 13 that bring them close to each other and make them so different from other squads and personnel. The anime tells us that though they were not taught about love, how these children develop a sense of it in their first meeting with the person they love and how they fall in love from just names to fleeing together with each other, breaking rules and falling for each other even when their memories are erased. The comparison in the anime about love and about Jian birds are truly perfect for each other but how so is something that you must watch and think for your own self.
The first time when you start watching the anime please remember that this anime is not about action or about some two power groups fighting with each other but is rather about life, its meaning and its beautiful gift of love. It was truly a great pleasure and a satisfaction that I watched this anime right after my examinations and so thus, I would say you to watch it too when you just came out from a very difficult phase in your life. Barring these facts, the anime is truly awesome as it comes with a complete package of great story and high class animation and detailing and not to forget it great detail in all character and phases in their life and their backstories. This review obviously has not been the best of all that I normally write but it is because I did not want to spoil any of it from just writing and giving my opinion in it, also when you do watch the anime please remember to not give critical opinion that the story was too vague instead remember that maybe there was something that the story writer was trying to tell us by telling and writing the story that he did.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
