This may actually just be my favorite anime that has been released in 2018. To be serious, at first I wasn't sure what to expect much of it after it opening in the first episode. It was rather you could say that I had given up on wanting to watch the rest of the anime, but just life Romio's and Juliet's love in the anime this feeling inside of me too took a turn and made me sit out to watch the whole season. To be just and upright to honor the anime I am also saying it at the very beginning that I will not give any part of the story away, so if you will please watch the anime yourself and feel all sorts of emotions that I felt while watching it.
Just as you may have already guessed the name of the protagonists in the anime is based on the name of the characters from Shakespeare play of Romeo and Juliet. The background of the story is in Dahlia Academy where students from rivaling countries, "Black Dogs" of Touwa and "White Cats" of West come together to study and co-exist. But, it is because of this rivalry between the two nations that the students at Dahlia Academy always tend to go up against each other seeing the other as their enemy and always end up fighting. Our story revolves around the two main protagonists in the story name Inuzuka Romio leader of the "Black Dogs" and Juliet Persia leader of the "White Cats." Through there being a difference between the two and them being enemies, Inuzuku has always loved Persia and it is because of this love of his for her that he goes out of his way to ask out Persia to be his girlfriend not at all caring about the consequences that it held if they were to be ever found out. Persia is someone who is trying to change the world of its dirty and disgusting mindset of discriminating races and superiority of gender. It is because Inuzuku loves her so much that he decides to take her goal as his and tells her about how he too would help her as he loved her, and the result of this was only of 'Juliet' falling for her 'Romio' even harder than he fell for her. It is now that they become secret lovers existing side by side each other to continue there lover for one another, but again it is the future that test there love so the question is what will happen ? Well that's about it to the hint of the basic story so please find out the rest.
This story is really similar to the play of "Romeo and Juliet" and is almost off well being known as a Drama, but again it is because of the way it is, that all the effort of the studio, writer, artists and team cannot be put to shame by calling this a 'Drama.' The anime in itself is rather a own genre of its own that is a genre of "Secrecy" but why so, maybe you can answer it better than I can. So please tell me too about why it is but "Secrecy" that binds the anime of all the genres that are out there.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
