Ever wondered what would happen if we were to live our childhood life once again? Well this is a anime that tell you exactly that. Kazaki Arata a 27-year-old man is a person who resigned from his official work due to its bad and disgusting way of treating its co-workers. He is a person who is broke and works part-time at a convenience store lying to all his friends that he actually has a job.
His life as bad as it gets changes when he gets a deal that he absolutely cannot refuse a deal which will pay his one year’s all expenses and will get him a job afterwards as he is finished with the experiment, the ReLife experiment. He is soon at late night after being drunk is greeted by Yaoke Ryo who offers him this deal instead of him taking part in the ReLife experiment whereon, he has to become a high schooler for another one year and live his life till the year finishes. This programme is to basically observe the subject and make him rehabilitate so that he can continue in his life further on so that he does not have to keep being a jobless old man who is broke and cannot afford to do anything with himself. The main problem here is that he soon finds himself making memories with high school students who will after a year forget about him and will have no memories of him in the future. And to make the matters worse he also finds himself falling in love with the person who actually happens to be another subject to the ReLife experiment, Hishiro Chizuru, but what makes the matter worse is that this is something that both of them do not know about. Kazaki here basically does a job of solving problems for his friends mainly, Hishiro and this is something that makes her fall in love with him too.
What will happen when the two will know about each other is something that the anime does not reveal but what we know is that this leads to a hope of second season and whatever it maybe it will be something that will make us excited and happy.
This anime is recommended for every “SLICE OF LIFE” anime lover.
