Rin Okumura a half-demon half-human twin born of a human mother and Satan himself. Upon his mother's death he was taken in by a "paladin" i.e., the highest rank of a Exorcist, Shiro Fujimoto and was raised a human alongside his brother Yukio Okumura.

Up until Rin's 15 years of age his existence as a demon child had been hidden away from the world, the Vatican and Rin himself by Shiro. The day when Satan possess the body of Shiro himself which results in his death, it is then when the story of our protagonist Rin Okumura and the people alongside him is unfolded. Rin now takes it up as his life goal to kill his original father Satan himself by becoming the best exorcist himself and obtaining the rank of a Paladin. But, as it seems this story has two sides to it as Satan too does not want to destroy the world aka Assiah but make his wife's only wish come true which is to unite the two world "hell" aka "Ghenneha" and "earth" aka "Assiah" where there will be no difference among the demons and the humans, a place where everyone would live in peace and harmony blaming none.

This is a anime that has but one flaw, its slow progression but what makes up for it, is its amazing story line and the action and hilarious scenes from the anime. As the story unfolds we soon see the many hidden factors in it, for example the story of Yuri, mother of the two demon child, the hidden facts which Shiro hides within himself and the story of the two love birds, Yuri and Satan.

This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
