This is a anime that is based on time shifting powers that Natsuki Subaru inherits as he one night suddenly after leaving the shop reaches a different world where he meets the girl of his dream Emilia. Let me say it at the beginning that this anime is worth watching but the ending of the anime is not to impressive as it leaves many questions unsolved.
Here we meet our main protagonist Natsuki Subaru who after awakening in a strange world further goes on to fall in love with a half-elf silver haired girl called Emilia. As she is a half-elf she is said to be the heir of Satella, the great Witch who is resented and disliked by all. He soon comes to know that she is standing in elections and will be one of the contenders taking part in the royal elections. He makes it his goal to give her the queen's seat and make her the next ruler of this crazy magical world, when everything starts going downhill for him. He starts falling apart in a way where is he left with no hope of coming back from the trauma and getting the life that he dreamed of. As the anime ends the viewers start looking forward to his plan as to how he will carry it out and how this plan of his will get him to the person he loves the most. The anime is basically based on three of the most deadly sins of the SEVEN DEADLY SINS which are SLOTH, GREED and PRIDE. Here we see how pride and greed disassembles Natsuki and how he uses sloth to take back what was lost to him in this fight of his.
The anime does leave many questions unsolved of whom some are, what or for who does the girl in the bar work for, what happened at last after he regrouped and who is the ruler of this crazy place? As the anime comes to an end after 25 of its episodes it leaves no hope for another season but if there was a second season it world really promote and fire up the first season.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
